When someone says Lean Manufacturing, we often hear continuous improvement, optimization, cost reduction, efficiency increase, stock reduction, lead time reduction and many others. However, how many of us hear fun and joy?
For what reason ever, Lean is not always linked to fun and joy. Of course, those who frequently practice Lean know very well… Lean has in its core the one thing that is capable to spark happiness and joy.
This thing is called: Sense of Achievement.
Lean projects are filled with possible achievements and therefore stuffed with joy and fun.
Treat your problems as treasures. Give them away in form of Lean projects to those who want to learn by experimenting, trying, failing and, eventually, by having the joy of achieving something splendid.
