By combining the collective expertise of the podcasting community with transparent evaluation standards, we provide independent creators and established productions alike with an equal opportunity to be discovered, receive valuable feedback, and earn recognition based on the quality of their work.

The Open Podcast Awards are built on a peer review system. Every creator who enters the competition also becomes part of the judging community by reviewing a small number of podcasts from other categories. This ensures that no participant evaluates podcasts they are directly competing against, creating a fair, balanced, and community-driven process.

Each podcast is independently reviewed by multiple participants using the same transparent judging criteria. Reviewers provide both scores and constructive written feedback, giving every creator valuable insights alongside the chance to win an international award.
